1. About This Policy

Campaign Launch ("we", "us", "our") is an Australian company operating the AI listing kit generator at campaignlaunch.com.au. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

By using the Service you consent to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address. We use a magic link authentication system, so we do not store passwords.

Property and listing inputs. When you use the Service to generate listing content, we collect the property details and other information you enter into our forms (such as property address, features, agent notes, and comparable details). This information is used to generate AI-powered content on your behalf.

Usage data. We automatically collect information about how you use the Service, including pages visited, features used, session duration, browser type, device type, and IP address. This data is collected via server logs and third-party analytics tools.

Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number or banking details on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the Service, including generating AI listing content based on your inputs;
  • Authenticate your identity via magic link emails sent to your registered address;
  • Process subscription payments and manage your account;
  • Analyse usage patterns to improve the Service and develop new features;
  • Send transactional communications (e.g., account notices, billing receipts, authentication links);
  • Send product updates or marketing communications, where you have consented or where permitted by law. You can opt out at any time.

We will not use your personal information for any purpose that is incompatible with the primary purpose for which it was collected, unless you consent or an exception under the Privacy Act applies.

4. OpenAI and AI Processing

The Service uses the OpenAI API to generate listing content from your property inputs. When you submit information through our forms, that information is transmitted to OpenAI's servers for processing. OpenAI's use of data submitted via the API is governed by OpenAI's API data usage policies. As of the date of this Policy, OpenAI does not use data submitted via the API to train its models by default.

We recommend that you do not input sensitive personal information about third parties (such as vendor contact details or confidential client information) into the Service beyond what is necessary to generate a listing.

5. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers who assist us in operating the platform (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, payment processing, email delivery). These providers are required to handle your data in accordance with this Policy and applicable law;
  • OpenAI, as described in Section 4 above, for AI content generation;
  • Law enforcement or regulatory bodies, where required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Some of our service providers may be located outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle your information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and associated data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal information within 90 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or dispute resolution purposes.

Usage and analytics data may be retained in aggregated, de-identified form indefinitely for product improvement purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and passwordless authentication.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you of any data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under the Privacy Act.

8. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct any information that is inaccurate, out-of-date, or incomplete;
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to any legal obligations we have to retain it;
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@campaignlaunch.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies and Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and analyse usage of the Service. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

We may use third-party analytics services (such as Vercel Analytics or similar) that collect anonymised usage data. These services have their own privacy policies and data handling practices.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Australia. Our handling of your personal information is subject to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
